Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
To position Kaduna Electric at the forefront of evolving energy technologies, including advanced distribution automation and renewable energy integration—ensuring a resilient, efficient and innovative electricity distribution system.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical products and services activities towards revenue generation
- Provide industry trends and opportunities for expansion with global perspective
- Develop technical efficiency policies and standards for optimal resource utilization
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for all technical functions
- Lead delivery of transmission and distribution construction projects
- Drive continuous reduction in Technical Losses, SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIFI metrics
- Interface with key regulators: TCN, NEMSA, NERC
Education
- Bachelor's in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering
- Master's degree preferred
- Advanced Power Systems Management training
Experience
- 15+ years in utility/power sector
- 8+ years in Senior Technical leadership
- Grid automation and smart grid experience
Certifications
- NSE, COREN, IEE membership required
- PMP/PRINCE2 preferred
- Professional engineering certifications

Chief Corporate Services Officer (CCSO)
To provide strategic oversight of Kaduna Electric's corporate services, HR operations, and administrative infrastructure—ensuring alignment with national standards and best practices in Human Resource and Corporate Services management.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strategic direction of HR, Admin & Corporate Services departments
- Develop performance-oriented culture emphasizing quality and continuous improvement
- Develop and monitor Corporate Services Department annual strategy
- Work with Finance to develop budgets and long-range facility plans
- Oversee recruitment, staff planning, and HR compliance efforts
- Supervise protocol, office administration, and fleet/logistics
- Manage stakeholder engagement and maintain company's public image
Education
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Economics
- Master's in Business Administration preferred
- Advanced utility management training
Experience
- 15+ years relevant experience
- 8+ years in senior executive role
- Corporate services leadership experience

Head, Human Resources

Education

Experience
- 10+ years HR experience
- 5+ years in supervisory role

Legal Advisor
Ensures proper monitoring and handling of all aspects of Kaduna Electric's legal affairs, especially potentially litigious matters, ensuring the Company's interests are protected through effective dispute resolution and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate dispute resolution appointments and meetings
- Ensure compliance with Company Laws, Regulations and Policies
- Proficient vetting of organizational policies, contracts and MOUs
- Prevent or manage negative legal fallouts from third-party contracts
- Work with external solicitors on Court cases and NERC Forum disputes
- Attend Court and NERC Forums hearings and sittings
- Provide legal advisory services to management
Education
- LL.B (Hons) degree in Law
- Called to the Nigerian Bar
- Licensed to practice law in Nigeria
Experience
- 5-10 years post-call experience
- Power sector experience preferred
- Litigation and contract experience
Certifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Professional legal qualifications
- Relevant discipline certifications
