Kaduna Electric’s CEO, Dr. Umar Hashidu led a task force on an inspection of NACB feeder within Kaduna metropolis. The feeder is metered end to end but has a poor collection rate. Unsurprisingly, a significant number of bypasses were caught, and the customers served the appropriate penalties. The exercise, which has been on in the past one week, is expected to help curb the spate of energy theft and shore up the company’s revenues.
