Kaduna Electric has launched its mass metering scheme under the Distribution Sector Recovery Program (DISREP), a pivotal step to enhance customer service and promote energy accountability.
The program was launched on Tuesday, 4th November 2025, in Kaduna’s Millennium City. The Deputy Managing Director, Abubakar Sadiq Mohammed, oversaw the first installations. The Deputy Director of meter manufacturer Ningbo Sanxing, Mr. Fayiz, who was present at the launch, expressed being highly impressed with Kaduna Electric’s readiness and believes this will be a very successful project.
