The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kaduna Electric, Engr. Garba Haruna, Garkuwan Kabi has commiserated with the victim of the last Tuesday bandits attack in Kanya village, Zuru Local Government, Kebbi State.
In separates letters of condolence to the Governor of Kebbi State and the Emir of Zuru which was made available to pressmen in Birnin Kebbi, Engr. Garba Haruna described the attack as “horrible, despicable and inhuman”.
According to him, “the last Tuesday attack on innocent people by some bandits in Kanya village where dozens of lives were lost and many more sustained injuries stands condemnable”.
“It is heavy heart and deep sense of loss that I write to express my sincere condolences to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zuru, General Muhammadu Sani Sami, Sami Gomo II and the families of those who lost their lives in the attack; we pray to God to grant the deceased eternal peace and the injured quick recovery”, he stated.
The Garkuwan Kabi also called for more effective collaboration between security agencies, community leaders and other stakeholders so as to bring the menace to an end.
