Adjustment in Tariff |
Dear Esteemed Customers,
The Management of Kaduna Electric wishes to announce an adjustment in tariff. The adjustment only affects customers on Band A feeders who have been enjoying significant improvement in power supply lately.. Customers on Bands B, C, D & E feeders are however not affected by the adjustment hence their tariffs remain the same.
The upward pricing adjustment for Band A customers has become necessary due to the rising costs of gas which affects the coat of power generation and also the fluctuations in foreign exchange rates. These factors have made it imperative to review tariff rates in order to address market shortfalls, ensure liquidity in the sector and ensure adequate product pricing.
Our esteemed customers should note that the adjustment which comes into immediate effect shall be reflected in customers post paid bills for the month of April while prepaid customers will notice the adjustment when they purchase meter tokens.
Kaduna Electric assures customers that it shall not relent in its efforts to improve power supply across its franchise and urges all electricity users to reciprocate by paying their bills when due.
