If initial Supply Chain Management (SCM) criteria are incomplete, the applicant will receive official notification requiring all outstanding documents to be resolved within Ten (10) business days to preserve quota allocation.
Application & Due Diligence
Initial EOI, documentation packs & technical vetting
Expression of Interest (EOI)
Prospective MAP officially transmits a formal EOI letter addressed to the MD/CEO of Kaduna Electric.
EOI Response & Application Pack
The MAP Project Office issues a formal response letter attaching the comprehensive MAP Application Form.
RFI & Procurement Checklist
Supply Chain Management (SCM) issues a detailed RFI checklist verifying statutory, technical, and financial criteria.
Allocation & NERC Permitting
Provisional quotas & regulatory operating permit
Provisional Letter of Engagement
SCM issues a signed Provisional Engagement Letter stating assigned feeder zones and single/3-phase quantities.
NERC Permit Application
The Applicant submits the Engagement Letter to NERC as a prerequisite for their official MAP Operating Permit.
Complete SCM Registration
Applicant deposits certified copies of the approved NERC Permit and Engagement Letter with SCM to finalize registration.
MSA Contract Execution
Rollout schedules, legal sign-off & data keys
Notice of Registration & Schedules
SCM requests detailed area office rollout matrices, installation schedules, and certified expert CVs.
Executive Contract Approval
SCM submits the complete appraisal dossier and contract approval request to the MD/CEO and Chief Legal Adviser.
MSA Legal Execution
The Legal Directorate executes the formal Metering Service Agreement (MSA), issuing the Final Engagement Letter.
Field Rollout & Joint SLA
Customer deployment, telemetry & continuous monitoring
Joint Kick-Off & Data Integration
The MAP Office convenes a kick-off meeting with Executive Management, releasing customer data and API keys.
Field Deployment & Installations
The Registered MAP mobilizes certified technicians to commence smart meter installations and token initialization.
Joint Performance Reviews
A Joint Monitoring Committee transmits weekly deployment reports to the CEO and conducts monthly SLA audits.
